When reporting a bug, include your device model, OS version, and the app version shown in Settings → About. If a chart looks wrong, include the birth date, time, timezone and place you entered — that is what we need to reproduce it.
Common questions
- Where is my data stored? On your device. Saved charts — the name, birth date and time, place and timezone you entered — live in local app storage. There is no account and no sync. See the Privacy Policy for details.
- Does the app work offline? Chart calculation does, entirely. The Swiss Ephemeris is bundled inside the app, so generating a chart needs no network access. The only step that reaches the internet is searching for a birth place.
- I don't know my exact birth time. Enter your best estimate and use the time slider on the chart screen to see how the chart shifts across the hours around it. Gate and line boundaries can move with a few minutes, so an approximate time gives an approximate chart.
- My chart differs from another Human Design site. The usual causes are timezone and daylight saving handling for the birth date, and the choice of lunar node. HumanDesign88 uses the true node, which can differ from the mean node by enough to change a gate. Check that the timezone shown on the chart matches the one in effect at your birth place on that date.
- How do I delete everything? Settings → "Clear all saved designs" removes every saved chart from the device permanently. Uninstalling the app removes everything as well.
- Can I back up or move my charts to another phone? Not yet — there is no export or sync. Your birth details are short enough to re-enter, and the chart is recalculated from them.
